OPAL-RT Workshop at UA
We had a four day training workshop taught by Jonathan Riel-Landry from OPAL-RT in Quebec, Canada. We learned how to use OP5600 integrated with Ametek MX22.5 grid simulator both available at FIELD. The workshop covered software basics and hardware implementation of real-time HIL simulation using OP5600. This set-up will be used to support our current projects on EV-Grid Integration and to develop novel EV charge control algorithms. The attendees to the workshop were:
- Mithat Kisacikoglu, PI
- Nuh Erdogan, post-doctoral researcher at UT Arlington
- Emin Ucer, Ph.D. student at UA
- Felipe Sozinho, MS student at WVU
- Malek Ramezani, Ph.D. student at UA
- Weizhen Dong, Ph.D. student at UA
- Yixiang Gao, Ph.D. student at UA
